Google No Longer Listing Number of Pages09/28/05 In the past 24 hours, Google's home page has changed. Google no longer reports on the number of pages indexed in it's search systems.
The last visible count appeared on September 27, 2005 when Google displayed the text of "Searching 8,168,684,336 web pages".
In recent months, there have been many discussions involving the number and quality of Google's indexed pages versus those of Yahoo.
