Google Pack Arrives01/09/06 A link to Google Pack has arrived on the company's homepage. The bundle includes Google Earth, Picasa, Google Desktop, Google Toolbar for IE, Mozilla Firefox with Google Toolbar, As-Aware SE Personal, Adobe Reader 7, Norton Antivirus 2005 Special Edition, and a Google Pack screensaver. The package even includes an in for Google to remind XP users of new and updated Google products by installing and running Google Updater.
Though initially limited to an internet download for Windows XP users, the included suite of products looks like a natural fit as pre-installed software on new PCs. Of course, only time will tell what Google's true intentions are for this as of yet free offering.
